Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast overview
In Jedi Knight II, several years have passed since Kyle avenged his father's death and saved the Valley of the Jedi from Jerec and his band of Dark Jedi. Allowing his Force powers to languish for fear of falling to the dark side, Kyle entrusted his lightsaber to Luke Skywalker, vowing never to use it again. But when a new and menacing threat to the galaxy emerges, Kyle knows he must reclaim his past in order to save his future. Players assume the role of Kyle as they employ a unique mix of weapons, Force powers and your lightsaber in both single- and multiplayer modes.

- This is an unsupported beta update for Jedi Knight II that addresses a few issues in the single player game. The multiplayer game has not changed and is not included in this update. To install, drag the "Jedi Knight II (Rev D Beta)" application into your existing Jedi Knight II game folder. It will not replace your existing game app. If you encounter problems with this beta release, simply go back to playing the original game.
- This update contains the following changes for the single-player game:
- Lightsabers once again block shots properly.
- Various other bugfixes that originated in the Rev. C. Universal Binary patch.

Quick Save is totally unreliable. I've had to restart an almost finished from scratch because of this.
I emailed the company and they said not to use this feature. Only normal saves.

Although it's cool that this UB update is free, the absence of volumetric shadow is a little disturbing. Only simple shadow works.

This is really cool.I run on a iMac G3 600mhz and it works fine.The only thing that is annoying is the long wait for the levels to load but thats probably just my computer :) Another RAM upgrade and it will probably do just fine.Also in the game sometimes it slows down to the point where you have to wait like a minute for your character to move and then it slows down again(this doesnt happen very often but still is frustrating) but like i said im guessing that its just the RAM(128mb).Overall a fun game with cool saber battles and stormtrooper gun fights. PS:The multiplayer mode is really fun too.
