GeburtstagsChecker... 'Geburtstag' is German for 'Birthday' which makes GeburtstagsChecker an application that checks for upcoming birthdays and reminds you of them to avoid potential embarrassment if your memory is rather weak.
In doing this, GeburtstagsChecker aims to be both customisable and easy to use. It allows you to import birthday information and the display of upcoming birthdays is highly customisable, allowing you to decide which of the information (e.g. birthdate, age, days until birthday etc.) you want to see and how it should be displayed.

- Fixes a bug, where the dates shown in the birthdays' list might have been wrong in some cases.

Now version 1.8.1, 64-bit. Still not shown here at MacUpdate.

Version 1.8 is now available and it is a 64-bit version that will run on upcoming MacOS versions. The newer version is available on the earthlingsoft website. I don't know why MacUpdate is still showing the old 32-bit version.

Interesting.
I can change the preferences but am unable to do anything else! I can't add birthdays, can't open a new birthday list, can't import a text file, etc. Nothing happens! There's a major glitch with this app.

One of the most practical and useful apps that I own, GeburtstagsChecker, despite its unwieldy moniker, is an elegant, stable and absolute necessity in my daily use. I've never had one moment of trouble from the app and I've used it for years. Great work, great application and great price. You can't beat it!

Great app working nicely !
You allowed me to avoid tons of reproaches, since I always forget the dates of the birthdays.
In the French localization it should be better to write :
- File Menu : Nouvel anniversaire, instead of "Nouveau"
- List / last column : Verrouillé, instead of "Vérouillé".
Imo, at least...
