I had high hopes for the Proton developers! But I keep running into important BUGS in their software the demonstrate remarkable blunders on their part. This time, it's the inability of the macOS Proton Pass application to know when there is an UPDATE! Today I discovered, thank you to MU, that Proton Pass v1.22.3 was out. I'd never have known otherwise! Instead, I'm running old version 1.17.5 which provides neither indication of an update, nor any method of checking for an update. Nothing! Instead, are we supposed to manually go to the Proton site and download the app to discover if it's been updated or not? What is wrong with this picture? I therefore proclaim: W T F ? ! ...I have written their support trying to find out what's going on over there, again again. Their coder coherence is seriously bothering me. - - [Further bugs yet to be repaired include damaging Apple Mail via their Proton Mail Bridge app. Thankfully, they recently solved the problem of Proton VPN crashing during Sleep, after I pestered them for many weeks. *sigh*] 🙄🗯️
