FileZilla Pro RemoteDrive overview

FileZilla Pro RemoteDrive seamlessly integrates with Finder, allowing easy access and management of FTP servers and many cloud storage services, included Amazon S3, Dropbox, Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive.

RemoteDrive offers seamless integration with Finder, providing users with a familiar and Mac-like experience for accessing and managing their cloud storage. With its simplified and user-friendly interface, RemoteDrive eliminates the complexity typically associated with file transfer tools, making it easy to set up and use for everyone.

RemoteDrive functions by mounting cloud storage services as virtual hard drives on your computer, tailored specifically for Mac users. It offers a convenient and unnoticeable solution, allowing users to interact with their cloud storage accounts effortlessly from their Mac, eliminating the need to log in separately for each account.

By embracing the complete Mac aesthetic and departing from the traditional FileZilla Pro UI, RemoteDrive offers Mac users a smooth and natural experience. Once you've configured your connections, RemoteDrive operates transparently, seamlessly integrating all your cloud storage connections directly into Finder. It's as if you've mounted an external disk or drive, giving you effortless access to all your files without the need for additional software or complex setups.

Simply click the RemoteDrive icon in the menu bar to connect to a server or cloud service provider. Once configured, you can effortlessly access these drives from Finder, just like any other network drive. No need to log into your cloud storage accounts individually; you can interact with them seamlessly from your Mac.

Developer's note: Our product has been developed utilizing Apple's File Provider extension, which is an Apple-approved framework for seamlessly integrating remote files into macOS and displaying them within the Finder. Leveraging Apple’s revamped File Provider API ensures a more seamless user experience. However, it's important to note that feedback from major cloud storage service providers has been varied among their users and customers. Therefore, we encourage you to take full advantage of the trial period to assess whether our product meets your specific needs.

This app is a fantastic upgrade from traditional tools like FileZilla, offering a much more streamlined experience with SFTP. The ease of access to cloud files and the intuitive interface really stand out. Users have praised its functionality, particularly the local access to S3 files, which is a game-changer. The integration with Finder is a great touch, enhancing convenience. Although the app would benefit from support for additional protocols like SMB and rsync, it’s already an excellent choice for anyone looking to simplify file management. It’s evident that this app is designed with user needs in mind, making it a valuable tool for both casual and professional use.
