Version 0.12.0 failed to open on iMac M3 running Sonoma 14.6.1. First ever attempt (no previous version installed). Tried "removing the MUNotifier directory from the Application Support is recommended." as suggested, just in case, to no avail. Restored it in proper directory and still does not launch. Note: my Mac runs with French locale.

The System Tray is a feature of Microsoft Windows.
MacUpdater is much better at identifying updates. Of course, this software is still in beta, but I would have more confidence if the developer had used the correct macOS terminology for the menu bar and notification center.

I don't even see the point in having this app. Of the long list of apps I have installed, every single one of them has a built-in update system. Unlike the old MU Update utility, this doesn't offer anything in the way of "new app discoverability." So if I want to see what's completely new (to me) out there, I still have to visit the MU website's "Latest" page.
