Taskbar overview
Taskbar is a Dock replacement that shows individual items for every application's window, similar to Microsoft Windows's taskbar. Taskbar makes multi-tasking much easier as it's possible to switch between windows with a single mouse click on window items that are all always visible, as opposed to the built-in Dock's requirement to right-click and select the desired window from an unintuitive text menu that contains the list of the application's windows. Other Taskbar features include window thumbnails, application launching using pins, workspace support, and window and app controls using the context menu.

Finally a worthy dock replacement! As a Windows user, this is exactly what I've been looking for. I've spent weeks trying various other ones, but they're all broken and poorly implemented. I appreciate that your taskbar shows the task titles. I'm overjoyed that I can rearrange tasks. And the breadth of options is astounding (I can even adjust the task width!).

I'm so excited about this app!! As a Windows user I tried getting used to macOs dock, but it felt more like a productivity killer compared to Windows taskbar. So I searched for alternatives - I tried uBar first but Taskbar is so much better. Can't wait for version 2.0 to be released (apparently this version will support taskbars for multiple displays). This app made my day! 🤩

Really great app. Was using uBar but the developer abandoned it. Taskbar is even better IMO. Almost no bugs in several months of using it (it’s still in beta). I’ll definitely buy it when it’s made for sale. Also, dev is really responsive to comments.

I come from a windows PC and find osx so much harder to use, so when I discovered mac taskbar it was like a breath of fresh air, it made my life so much easier. It works really great. Cant wait for v2!
