macSvn overview
macSvn is an intuitive and easy to use Subversion client, implemented as a Finder sync extension that does not require the Subversion command line to run. It integrates seamlessly into the macOS Finder, all svn commands are available directly from the content menu, toolbar menu, and sidebar menu of Finder window.

- Ability to list all repositories when browsing HTTP/HTTPS repositories. The embedded Subversion was upgraded to version 1.14.5. Embeds Subversion builds using OpenSSL1 and OpenSSL3 for compatibility with older servers and support for client authentication certificates using elliptic curve cryptography. The Subversion shelving supports both Shelving-2 and Shelving-3 implementations. Add predefined configuration items in the "Git Configuration" window. Other fixes and improvements.

It looks like I wrote positive reviews about macSvn too soon. The bugs were not fixed and all came back after the update (which happened because the app was ignoring the "do not check for updates" setting). In addition, the macSvn app completely stopped working. In the previous version it was saying "the free version is untimed", but now it totally refuses to work without the key. This approach is MISLEADING and DISHONEST. Deleted macSvn straight to trash.

Another small but annoying bug is that the "don't check for updates" setting seems to reset after some time, and macSVN begins checking for updates again.

After updating to v2.4.0, it was nice to see that the bug with misaligned menu items in the Finder toolbar menu has been fixed. Although in the meantime I came across a different bug: the "edit" button in the Manage Working Directory list doesn't seem to work - it does absolutely nothing when pressed. So if, for example, the p****word or the link for the SVN server changes, the user will have no way of editing it. The only way will be to delete the current working directory and then add a new one with the new details.

After using MacSvn for a few says, I can happily report that it works quite well. There are some small bugs and glitches, for example: the Finder toolbar icon sometimes disappears, the menu items in the Finder toolbar menu seem to be misaligned and their icons and separator lines are displayed incorrectly in a different column (at least on the latest macOS 15), the text for some elements in the Diff settings interface is running beyond the window edge.
Also, it is still a pity that there isn't any information about the MacSvn developer(s) on their website, but at least MacSvn DMG file is signed by Apple, which is a plus to the trust score of this application. It would also be nice to see a clear explanation about the differences between the free MacSvn version and the Pro license. But other than that, it is a very good app.

Looks like a great alternative to TortoiseSVN for macOS, but unfortunately there is zero information about the developers of this app on their website, so it is hard to estimate its trustworthiness.
