StartupManager overview
In macOS we can use System Settings → General → Login Items to add the processes we want to launch when we login to our computer.
Unfortunately, since version 13 it is no longer possible to hide those processes after they are started.
As I have many Login Items and want to have better control over them, I created StartupManager, to address this shortcoming.
I then added extra features.

Many years ago, there was a program I deemed essential, called "Conflict Catcher." It allowed one to create sets of startup items so that one could determine what startup item(s) collided with others. These days, something like that is needed again, as so many programs now exist that launch at login and insert themselves into the menu bar -- and conflicts occur. I'm having an issue (since upgrading to Sequoia) and I'm now having to go through a long, arduous process of removing all startup items and adding them back again to see where and when the problem exists. It would be nice if Startup Manager could add this capability!

Very usefuls application for me.
And the developer is very responsive.
My only regret is that you can't support it without giving your Visa card number.
Use of Paypal would be a big plus
