Pearcleaner is an open-source app cleaner inspired by Freemacsoft's AppCleaner and Sun Knudsen's Privacy Guides post on his app-cleaner script.

best App cleaner i'll know... and have them all...
@Akent lol ... you have no clue... and i'll wonder why you post here?
Pearcleaner is so much better than AppCleaner and the rest.... but if you like the other... stick with it and let us work with the better tool... looks lie you have no clue what the app do better than the rest & also it's Universal...
@Dev ... well well done ... it's not easy task... and some have a fxxk up system ... but Pearcleaner newer let me alone... many many thx also for updating and keeping it free ❤️

Once again, still wondering how this program compares to the excellent (and free!) program called AppCleaner. Would be good to have that. I for one will continue to promote AppCleaner.

Still unclear as to whether this program is as good as, or better than, the excellent free AppCleaner. As I have commented before, AppCleaner is reliable, easy to use, and just works. Like other cleaners, there are times it does not find every file associated with an application that is being removed. But I have that covered, as I just then launch another excellent free program EasyFind to find the remaining files that AppCleaner missed. AppCleaner and EasyFind: definitely a winning pair!
