Proton Mail Bridge for Mac

v1.0.6 of Proton Mail is out. NOTE: There are TWO elements/apps that make up Proton Mail. (1) Proton Mail Bridge, which is what MU downloads. It is the SETUP application. It is currently at v3.8.2. (2) There is MAIN APP: Proton Mail. It is what's run after the initial setup is finished. It is the MAIN APP. It is regularly updated as well.

Proton Mail macOS desktop client BETA is now available at the Proton.me site. The current beta is 0.9.3. So far, looks good. Q: Does it allow access to other email services? A: No. Not yet anyway. - - I'm testing it because I'm fed up with (A) Apple coding bugs into Mail, then ignoring them. (Sound familiar?) (B) Apple's degenerated 'Support' system, all levels. (C) Apple bombing or bringing down their iCloud Mail services and never bothering to tell its customers. *GRR* I've already been using Proton Mail from day one for my PRIVATE email. iCloud eMail service gets all my other junk, for now.

Proton has just released their first macOS app for Proton Drive, v1.0.3. After it's initial run, it allows you to access your Proton Drive directly from the Finder. Sweet. It's reasonably stable and reliable at this point. It's encrypted. I'm using it as my main email server, beating out Apple's own clunky Mail on both Mac and iOS.
