At first I loved it, but then hated it when the app started unexpectidely to launch at login and I could not prevent it from doing that. Unchecking the box in the preferences did not change anything. I had to uninstall it using a 3rd-party app to get rid of it.

Deepl translations are the best. The only problem is that the software sucks. It's way too complicated. It doesn't work with text expanders like TypeIt4Me and as someone who does a lot of writing, I need this. For a couple of years I have been paying the subscription, but will no longer continue because the software is unusable and because I can get the same quality of translation with ChatGPT.

amazing translation quality, and really like the synonym matching feature. However, the app requires optimization for apple mac silicon and the new macOS is very resource intensive at the moment

I wa very happy with Deepl, until I cannot downloaded anymore on my Mac, wonder why. But Deepl is an excellent tool. I love it.
