Clip Box is an advanced video clip manager that comes with a dark interface that can be customized with themes or individually
Clip Box features a database, a clean fluid organization and presentation, a search function and many other functions
The function to search for similar videos is lightning fast, and relies on a proprietary algorithm that the developer made themselves
As Clip Box features some complex functions as hierarchical and scoped tagging, a tagging assistant, tagging rules and much more, 15 tutorial videos are online

New:
- Radio buttons replaced by custom radio buttons compliant with themes
- Databases in the opening dialogue can now be reordered by dragging them to a different location
- Added an animation while bigger databases load
- Buttons are now theme compliant and can have rounded corners (frames & captions colours)
- Icon buttons have been replaced by the new button control (same visual, but theme compliant)
- Popup menus are now theme compliant (menu colours) and close when the mouse leaves them
- Many controls now use the proprietary class pnRetina to produce better graphics on Retina displays
- When opening Clip Box the first time (or with no reference to a database) an assistant to create a grouped database shows up
- Installed a guide with context driven help bulbs (?)
Changed:
- In the new database dialogue, the ‘Media Folder’ location now defaults to the database location after changing the later one
- The layout and feeling of the new database dialogue has been reviewed
- Icon menus must now be clicked to be opened (opened before on mouse over)
- Icon menus for tags and preferences have been replaced by buttons
Fixed:
- Selecting the same item in the popup menu as the previously selected one does not trigger an action
- Fixed a bug where Clip Box showed the assistant panel after a search similar search. Now it shows the tag panel
- Control elements are now correctly placed when the Mass Rename window resizes
- SQL reserved characters in the search field are now correctly escaped
- The thumb size is now correctly set after that the long stripe was selected

I've been looking for an app like this for a long time. Clip Box is beautiful, works perfectly and has a lot of functions that I need. Especially the search for similar videos is great, not 100% perfect but super fast and usable. At first I was skeptical, but after watching the tutorial videos I knew that I would use Clip Box intensively. Similar apps, if they exist, cost a lot of money, but Clip Box is freeware. It was only on Pascal's website that I became aware that I had already used some of his great apps in the past. Conclusion: a great freeware from a great developer. Kudos.
