DockMate overview
DockMate adds mouse over window previews to the Dock, with useful built in window management tools. It also includes special views for Music and Calendar apps that gives you quick information and basic controls. Simply hover over an applications icon in the Dock to see all of its running windows and control them.

I just installed DockMate. So far, I'm impressed. I thought I was out of luck since HyperDock is no longer working.

Working well except previews really need to be higher quality (higher resolution). I'd give only 3 stars because of that clear deficiency, but I do want to encourage the developer! Keep it up!

Prayers have been heard. After HyperDock being abandoned for more than two years now, I was really worried about a future alternative. Here it is! Works pretty great so far, still missing some nice little touches known from HyperDock as well as localization - but hey, development just started. I bought my copy today, ditching HD and I'm looking forward for the next updates. :)

I discovered Dock Mate about a week ago and downloaded a trial straight away, conscious that HyperDock hasn't been updated since the end of 2018. It has proved an excellent replacement with one or two extra features such as a view of the day's calendar events that works for Fantastical as well as the MacOS calendar. Works well on Big Sur on both Intel and Silicon. At $15 seems good value to me.
