Boring Old Menu Bar overview
Boring Old Menu Bar was developed to bring the "perfectly fine" macOS Catalina menu bar to macOS 11 Big Sur.
macOS 11 Big Sur does many things right and after a bit of getting used to, the visual style really grows on you. The transparent menu bar, however, is a bit of a legibility nightmare and something I could not live with.

Brilliant. Gives you a nice clearly defined menu bar again. Doesn't effect the resolution of your wallpapers like other solutions. Nice customisation options. Insta buy!

It took me all of 20 seconds 'testing' this app to make the decision to go and pay for it. Without this I would have dumped BigSur, a light coloured Menu Bar in a Dark Theme where all my gauges are - duh!

It works, but how it works is majorly hacktastic. There has got to be a better way to directly fix this abomination in Big Sur.

Why the h*ll this app should be necessary, but thank god it's available. So many unnecessary changes in the Big Sur UI that are inefficient.
