Pomotroid overview

While the Pomodoro Technique hasn’t been popular for that long, the sheer number of Pomodoro apps out there may make you think otherwise. That’s not a bad thing, though, as having lots of options only makes it more likely to find one that’s perfect for you.

Pomotroid doesn’t stand out from the pack too much, as it looks and functions like most other Pomodoro apps. However, its smart, straightforward design, as well as the visually pleasing UI, make it a better option that most other similar tools.

The app is really nice, but ouch! 187Mb once installed! For a rather simple timer, in the end... :-o It's apparently because of the Electron Framework, that allows it to be cross-platform, but from a user perspective is just disk space wasted. There was an app called Pomodoro Timer that does the same job for 3Mb, I'm lucky to have it but unfortunately it's not available any more.
