Version: 3.195.13
Standard Notes is now part of the Proton family of software. But "Unlimited" license customers have to buy a separate subscription for the full version. (0_o) It works only with plain text. It's developer coding friendly. If you buy into the "Professional" plan, you can use it to collaborate with others. Because it's Proton, everything is encrypted for security. Be sure to read about it at the Dev page for a full set of features and options. Whether it's useful? It's going to depend upon what you use it for.

Version: 3.138.4
Downloaded the Linux (Ubuntu MATE 20.04 LTS) version, set the mode and executed the program. It threw an initialization error. Since there's no documentation on usage, my next command was 'rm' (remove).
