The latest version of this app is 1.5173, released March 2, 2021. There have been at least 25 updates in the past year alone. This is well beyond the "initial release." I get that they are primarily promoting this app on Setapp, but MacUpdate is not even remotely close on the latest version/info of this app.

I got this app as part of Setapp. I use the command line in git for creating branches, committing and pulling. I encountered a bug in my code that required me to roll back previous branches to see when this had taken place. This was beyond my git capabilities, so I launched Gitfox. I had never used it before and in a matter of seconds I was checkout different commits and going back time w/io any issues. I found the bug very easily by following this approach. Being able to do this w/o having read any documentation speaks of the app by itself. Highly recommended to anyone who doesn't want to deal with more complex git commands or anyone using git for that matter

The interface looks like a blatant copy of Tower, mixed-in with GitFinder - loose 1 star. There is no thorough documentation - like Tower has - no online manual, and the company website is ridiculously minimal: no Roadmap or info on upcoming/missing features, and the FAQs have only 4 questions, 2 of which deal with account issues - loose another star. Last of all, like Tower, this is SUBSCRIPTION-WARE - lose another start, and go straight to the trash.
