Tad overview

Tad is a fast CSV file viewer that works on large files. CSV data is imported into SQLite for fast, accurate processing. It's also a pivot table for analyzing and exploring data in SQL data sources. As such, Tad is designed to fit in to the workflow of data engineers and data scientists.

What’s new in version 0.13.0

  • Updated to latest DuckDb (0.9.1)
  • Better error handling when DuckDb extensions can't be downloaded to enable Tad use behind corp firewalls
  • Interactive column histograms for numeric columns
  • Improved date / time rendering (by @hamilton)
  • Direct copy/paste to Excel and Google Sheets
  • String filters are now case insensitive
