The name of this App has been hijacked. MiniCad used to be a very affordable 3D Cad/Cam app for the Mac. Then it was purchased by Nemetschek that renamed it VectorWorks, and upped the price to over $1000 in its effort to, in my opinion, compete with professional products such as AutoCad. I do not know if Nemetschek still owns the name, MiniCad, but if they do, the name of this product might be a copyright violation. One of the principal developers of the former MiniCad is now a Nemetschek VP and Nemetschek still owns the name Graphisoft, which was the original developer of MiniCad. In any case it is not the same MiniCad that used to be priced around $200 as, base on its description, it is nothing more than a Cad viewer.
