It says "FREE" next to a 'Pay Now' link. Scam?

This App is only free for 7 days. After that it is $24 a year that is either paid per month on an auto renewal up there basis until the user request it to be stopped. A $5 "Lifetime Pass"with no explanation of what that actually is. is also offered. All conversion is actually done by sending your files to a server on the internet then back to your computer. This implies the developer potentially has access to all your data in the file being converted. Additionally the website has absolutely no information about the developer or where your data is going. There is no address, phone number, anything about the developer. The only thing on the website some brief testimonials, a few FAQ's , a boilerplate privacy policy with no developer info, and a blank web based email form for support. Given the lack of any accountability, or rudimentary information about the developer, that it is a web based App, and the misleading 'free' label, along with a perpetual auto renewal, there is absolutely no way I would ever consider trusting this app or its developer with any of my files, data or credit card/account information.

In my opinion it this App presents itself as incredible opportunity for the developer engage in embezzlement, blackmail and identity theft of the subscriber, leaving the subscriber with no recourse should it take place. Other than the company name, no other information seems to exist to identify the developer.

What the blurb says on this page does not square with what it says on the developer's web site or in the app store. According to those sources, this app converts from various text file formats to one image file format or another. In other words, there is no actual text conversion being done at all. This looks to me to be a scam. Caveat emptor!
