Writer for Mac

So as not to freak out users, please note that version 2.1.1 of Writer was released Aug 19, 2018. This is the current version.

Nice Free app to write screenplays in fountain.

A great, simple tool for scriptwriting however it isn't 100% free of bugs. For instance, I am having some occasional page separation issues when exporting to PDF that are inexplicable (or at least to me they are). Will upgrade rating to 5 stars if someone could explain to me what is going on there.

Excellent free screenwriting app. We found this via the fountain site - http://fountain.io - after trying a few other alternatives such as Final Draft and Fade in and found we actually preferred this for it's simplicity, interface design and native usage of '.fountain' files as opposed to the proprietary formats of the others.

Having .fountain as the native file is very helpful as we are collaborating between Mac and Linux Mint users.

The interface is very clean and 'Mac like' unlike some of the popular ones mentioned above and despite having less features/ options as those at this point it is very nice to use and gets the job done.

* Feedback:

- Would be good to see the 'outline' panel expandable horizontally with drag so more of the scene heading texts is visible.
- Maybe needs a 'prefs' window set-up to allow for a few more options to be set-up, such a setting the font?
- Could do with ability to add a page header / footer.
