MoviePrint lets you create screenshots of entire movies in an instant. Contact sheet, index print, thumbnail view, whatever you want to call it :-)

There are precious few apps for the Mac that make movie contact sheets, and when it works, MoviePrint is the best of them. First, the 4/2020 download is version 0.2.12; the current version (0.2.16 as of this writing) is available on the new product web site: https://movieprint.org.
"When it works," To be fair, the product is still a beta. and there are debugging items indicating so: Reset Application, Relaunch Application, etc. As a cross-platform program (Mac/Windows), it has its own UI, which functions well, but a read of the documentation is almost a must.
There are some fascinating features not found in other products of its type: setting start and end points for capture (called "IN" and "OUT" respectively), saving a single frame in its original resolution, interval or shot mode (interval = start to finish timeline, shot = detecting a change in movie lighting, camera angle, etc.). Face recognition is still in the works, but the possibilities are endless.
There appears to be some incompatibility with hardware, as I have two Macs running Intel Core i7 processors (a MacBook Pro and a MacBook Air) and Mojave, but an older MacBook running High Sierra and a Core 2 Duo processor crash on launch (v0.2.12 still works).
All in all, if you want to catalog your video collection using contact sheets for a reference, it's hard to imagine a better program than MoviePrint. And to top it off: It's FREE -- no adware, no spyware, no in-app purchases. Nice!

This app is well design and very easy to use.
I have been looking for the alternative of Image Grabber 2 for many years. Since it is still in Beta phase. I am very optimist that the developer will improve in the next software iteration.
