Mia for Gmail (was Notifier Pro for Gmail) is a desktop Gmail client which sits politely in your menu bar.
- Multiple Gmail accounts - Add as many as Gmail accounts as you want. A pleasant notification sound will let you know if you've got a new email. It's up to you to choose any notification sound (from the system sound list).
- Check, read, compose* - Quickly read and compose your emails. You can also mark as spam, archive, or delete an email. Mia for Gmail can be your default email handler. It can manage your attachment files as well. (* The native compose window works for OS X 10.10 Yosemite or later.)
- 100% Secure - We rely on Gmail's Auth 2.0 user authentication, passwords are not stored on your Mac. All connections use IMAP/SSL. This application is available in English, French, German, and Russian.

Could someone please clear up the pricing on this. It says $1.99, but JamesHarrisPhoto says it's $1.99 per month. If you download this from the App store it says you can get the premium version for $11.99. That is a big difference in price. Their website doesn't say anything about how much it's cost at all.

Please be aware that the cost of this app isn't $1.99. It's $1.99 PER MONTH! It's mind-boggling how many small developers think that the subscription model is the way to go. Huge mistake. I use Readdle's Spark (free) for all of my gmail accounts. I don't need to have gmail in my already-crowded menu bar.

The most lightweight, simple and effective gmail app to handle multiple gmail accounts. Other gmail apps will eat your RAM when you have many gmail accounts. but this one running fast, lightweight and smoothly.

My favourite Gmail desktop app. Others only opens the mobile site. In Mia for Gmail you can mark as read or delete mails without open any window, only a menubar list. I only open Mail when I must manage my old mails.
