3 day trial. It's universal, x86 and Arm. REVIEW: I'm used to using the older speech apps and all of them are clunky. I was hoping SpeakMe would relieve me from clunk workarounds. It didn't. Instead, it is annoying and dysfunctional due to several BUGS: (1) If you start the Save process but Cancel, it locks into eternal sit&spin mode. (2) The text that appears on screen during reading starts with the last word then ends with the second to last word. Very odd. (3) It doesn't save your voice choice between boots. You have to start from scratch again. (4) It doesn't distinguish between versions of the same voice, such as the three quality levels of the British Serena voice. You end up having to guess which is which. (5) Repeated editing of your text for reading will eventually BOMB the app. I sent in a bug report. CONCLUSION: AVOID! until it gets a major overhaul. At version 3.0 I'd expect it to be functional. Instead it's Not Ready For Prime Time. If you can survive the bugs, it does provide a good, hard won AIFF file as output. 🤕

Does what it says on the tin: you write some text, click the button and that's it. Your audio file is ready. Good job!
