iAddressX overview

iAddressX puts your contacts' information in your menu bar for quick and easy access. iiAddressX allows Mac users to navigate their contacts from a small icon in the macOS System Menu Bar. Users can also print Dymo labels, dial iPhone and Skype calls, send SMS messages, and more directly from the Menu Bar. iAddressX puts all Contacts application-related information at a Mac user's fingertips. Users can quickly view their contacts' information, including phone numbers, email addresses, birthdays and anniversaries, addresses, and much more. Contacts can be viewed in various ways, including alphabetically, recent contacts, by country, by company, and more. "I always tired of the need to open my macOS Contacts application every time I needed to lookup a contact. When I discovered iAddressX I knew I had to bring it to Mac users," says James Lee, owner of Tropical Software. "iAddressX takes the pain out of looking up contact information, allowing users to quickly search for a specific contact, view contacts by group, quickly dial a number or send a text. A Dymo label can even be printed on the fly, without the need to leave the Mac desktop."

Purduejim and/or Tropical Software-

I would suggest taking a look at JABMenu, a similar app, if you are looking for other features or ways to improve iAddressX.

I still have my original license email from MibaSoft for my purchase of iAddressX from January 7, 2003. It cost $8 at that time. JABMenu costs $15. I know your time is valuable and your efforts sincere, but I would suggest keep the price where it currently is, at $9-10.

Finally, the menu bar icon does not work when using the "dark menubar and Dock" option (the icon does not reverse, so you can barely see it) and the dark bezel around the type when showing the Large Type option seems too dark. I've emailed your support team with these same concerns.

Nice to see this reliable tool brought back to life, It was an excellent way to access the old Address Book's information and I look forward to exploring how it is implemented now using Apple's new Contacts app in Yosemite. So far it seems to have all the old app's strong points.
