GeoTag overview
GeoTag is a free OS X application that allows you to update image metadata with geolocation tags by panning and zooming in a map window and then clicking on the location where a photo was taken. It is a good way to add location information to photos or fine tune existing location information.
What’s new in version 5.4
- Requires macOS 14.0 or later.
- Pin view options now available in the Map context menu in addition to the View menu.
- ExifTool version 13.01.
- Code structure changes.
- If multiple GPX track logs contained timestamps within 6 hours of an image timestamp the image might have been assigned an incorrect location when the “Locn from track” function was used.
