Another one with a new scheme - "CREATE ACCOUNT" and be FREE!
So this is a new model for many developers - if you want it for FREE then we need you to create an ACCOUNT. Then they will start pushing the Subscription model. NO ACCOUNT! NO Subscription! Stay away!

After using 1-Password for some time now, I decided to change password managers to avoid paying monthly subscriptions. Subscriptions may be a good business model for software companies, but with each app requiring a monthly payment, they soon add up. I purchased a lifetime subscription to Sticky Password and transferred all my passwords and info manually. It was therapeutic, deleting sites that I never use, updating passwords to more secure ones that the program suggests for you. I’ve been using it for a month now and it works well.

This is not free if you want to sync passwords across both Macs and iOS devices. It's not even payware.
Sticky Password is subscriptionware.
It costs $20/year to sync passwords even if you never use the developer's cloud server and instead sync over your personal wifi network.
If iI like an app then I'll pay for it, and if a significant update offers features useful to me, I'll pay again. But paying once per year whether the app is upgraded or not? Absolutely not.
