Wow this is a great application! I thought it was difficult/sketchy at the beginning but then I discovered it's really simple.. You just have to click the 'content to mac' button on the homepage, select the libraries you want to transfer (I selected photos and contacts) Then you have to select where in your mac you want the files to transfer to. (I double checked that it was to my external hard drive) Then I waited. It's +-20 mins later and through Finder > my external hard drive, I can already see all my contacts and about 1200 photos transferred. I have to say it will probably take a long time (a whole evening) if you want your whole 50GB icloud library to be transferred, but I mean, it's free, and it does the job. Only thing I'm wondering if it's putting all the different subfolders (screenshots, whatsapp images, etc) in the same folder on my external hard drive. I think so. So if you really don't want that, make sure you do separate transfers (which I couldn't figure out because the Select All-tool seemed to not work properly) But what can I say: it's free, it copies your files to the place you want them to go, it doesn't have advertisements or pop-ups or weird stuff. I mean, you could probably do more with this app if you purchase the whole version. But especially for a free app, this is super awesome and saved me a lot of time lol. I'm using Catalina latest version and all of this works on my laptop, except the 'select all' button, it doesn't seem to select multiple things unless you click all files manually. 9/10! :)
