Movavi Screen Recorder for Mac

The current release is 22.3.1 with Monterey support.

I got this app from the developer's site and I like it a lot. Really easy to use. The interface is very simple which I like. I use it mainly for screenshotting but screen recording works just as great.

Do N)OT get the Mac Store version of Movavi Screen Recorder. It is hobbled such that computer audio cannot be recorded. There is a workaround app that can be added. However, the Mac App Store has plentiful complaints about both the removal of computer audio recording AND the difficulty of getting the workaround app installed. All of this is due to Apple restrictions (aka MPAA and RIAA bad attitude toward humanity). THEREFORE: Get Movavi Screen Recorder DIRECTLY from the developer ONLY!

I purchased this app at a deep discount, one that I couldn't pass up. I didn't need the app at the time of purchase but the price was right. Strangely enough, the following day Movavi Screen Capture was just the tool I needed to show a colleague how to set up a Plex Sever from a distance. I made a 6 minute video that served him perfectly. I had the opportunity to use Movavi and it had every feature I needed and more. I was very pleased with the performance, stability and the especially price. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who doesn't want to spend $100 on ScreenFlow. Don't get me wrong ScreenFlow is awesome for many people but to expensive for what I use it for. I didn't need to read any instructions, the app is self explanatory, especially if you have used an app of this type in the past. I am thrilled with my purchase. It is very unusual for me to get a good deal . I owned version 5 of ScreenFlow but the upgrade price was too high for my usage of the app.
