cDock for Mac

Absolute piece of trash on Big Sur! It caused my dock to flicker and disappear. It also caused the desktop to flicker and turn black, as well as all icons to disappear! I wasn't even using this garbage application, neither manually nor as a startup item. I was only able to discover that it was running by doing trial-and-error "quit" commands on running apps using Activity Monitor. REMOVE THIS FILTH!

Very buggy program. I've used this for years on High Sierra, but it's a pain in the butt to get it to do the most basic features. Author has a reputation for not replying to user's complaints. The author likes to give the excuse that users don't install it properly by not disabling SIP. But that's one thing this program does properly. It warns the user they must disable SIP, and tells them how. But once it's running, it's problematic, to put it mildly. I had been using this to make my dock transparent, not realizing I can get almost the same effect by tweaking macOS. Now I've discarded cDock completely. It was a total waste of my time. Now the author has the nerve to charge users money for this piece of buggy junk. WOW! That's all I can say, just WOW!

Tried to reach the dev and got no response after three emails over a period of a month... first via his contact page, second via direct email and third via twitter... nada, no response. This may very well be abandonware or at the least just ol' dev-abuse.

Buggy software, and still is. It was bad enough when it was free, and we had to deal with all the crashes and problems. But now, they want to charge ten bucks for this buggy pos. After reading the reviews here, all I can say is, "Run away! Run away!"

Licence not working after about of year non-using application. I'v uninstalled this money swamp
