QuickIcons works, in my limited testing, but it's not free. The download here is a demo version that watermarks any icon your create. Still, at least there is a demo, which is more than can be said for most apps sold through the Mac App Store. And the price is only 99 cents, so it's certainly a good value for the money. It's just that the download from Mac Update should be marked as a demo and the availability and price at the App store should be noted. It may be a small deception but it's still a surprise when you get the download and it says demo - after seeing it marked as freeware here. You never get a second chance to make a good first impression, and I doubt this kind of confusion is what the developer is looking for with a new product.
