EOL, END OF LIFE. v103.0.5060.53 is the current version. Supposedly v104.0.5112.81 exists, but cannot be found on its website. Both are from the summer of 2022 and are EXTREMELY OUT-OF-DATE relative to Chromium, meaning that several security flaws, some of which are being exploited in-the-wild exist. As such, DO NOT USE. This browser is apparently EOL, no longer being developed. If you have a copy on your Macs, remove it. It's UNSAFE!

Anyone using Epic in 2020? I use this in addition to Firefox. I just like Epic's simplicity and workability. I like the 9 VPN proxies offered, the umbrella to block ads and trackers, enable plug-ins. It is the go-to browser for setting up youtube for my kids, since it automatically blocks creepy, interrupting ads. I'm no obsessive investigator, so I cannot list pros and cons versus other browsers. I know many people like "Brave". I've been using Epic for a while and I still admire its capabilities and the ethos of the developers.

I'm running the final GM of Sierra and it appears to break Epic because it will no longer connect to the proxy.

Here's and interesting quote from MacInTouch about browsers, specifically Google vs Epic, and the network each use. My money? I'd rather have Google: [We don't know what Google does behind the scenes with the astoundingly detailed and intimate dossier of information it gets on everyone, nor do we know who views every bit of our information that travels through Epic's network. In any case, we do know very well that governments, service providers and corporations are willing, able and active in monitoring everything we do. -Ric Ford]
