Universal Type Server allows all the fonts in your organization to be consolidated into a single, secure location on a server. Fonts are managed as follows:
The administrator subdivides the fonts into workgroups intended for specific types of users or projects.
The administrator decides which workgroups you need to access.
You access workgroups, and the fonts within them, through the Universal Type Client application.
Your user permissions control what you can do with fonts within each workgroup, including whether you can add fonts, share sets, change a font’s class, and more.
Some users are font administrators, giving them more power over fonts.
What’s new in version 3.3.1
Version 3.3.1:
Fixed an issue where Photoshop documents with fonts in Smart Objects would always display a message about fonts not being available. However, this issue may still occur in Photoshop documents with both a text layer and a Smart Object that includes fonts.
Fixed an issue where Photoshop documents with many Smart Objects could take a long time to open.
Fixed an issue where Adobe Illustrator CS5/5.1 documents would finish loading before all the document’s fonts were activated, causing the document to reflow after it was loaded.
Fixed an issue where saving a very large Photoshop document could result in errors that wouldn’t allow you to save the document.
Fixed an issue where InDesign or InCopy would crash upon opening a document if Universal Type Client was open but a user had not logged in.

The company I work for would like to purchase this if it wasn't so expensive. To put it into perspective, Adobe Creative Suite was around the same price for several pieces of software. Lower the price and you will have a sale.
