Doesn't work under Yosemite. Will upgrade to 5 stars when fixed.

With the upcoming demise of critical API's that have supported Entourage for years, I have been looking far and wide for a solution to calendar and reminder functions that enables me to control snoozing. I like to set a date for, say, a quarterly tax payment and then get an advance reminder which I can then "snooze" on--getting prodded on it from time to time--until it is actually due. It appears to me that SnoozeMaster, integrating with Apple's own Calendar and Reminders apps will fit the bill. Not perfect but better than any other combination I can find. So far the app has been stable and because its function is inherently simple it is very easy to use. Just make sure that the Notifications are set to "None" for Calendars and Reminders or things will get confusing.

I'd love to love this app, as its purpose in life is to fix a huge deficiency in Mountain Lion. Unfortunately, it's freezing up too frequently to be usable for me - about one in every ten alert popups gives me a spinning beachball when I mouse over the snooze button (MacBook running 10.8.3). As it's a background app, I can only get out of the crash by going into Activity Monitor, locating the process and force-quitting. Three stars in the earnest hope a more stable version will be released soon.

This tiny and cheap app completes Calendar. When Apple messed up the notifications side of Calendar I very nearly went over to BusyCal - then I read a forum post which mentioned SnoozeMaster. It elegantly fixes the "improvements" made to Calendar in Mountain Lion and improves on it in the same breath. Strongly recommended!
