Dream Aquarium for Mac

Its very simple...No matter how awesome this screensaver looks, and how easy it is to span multiple monitors, and how funny it is watching my cat try to catch the fish - I just cannot agree with any of the other people who commented about how good this screensaver is. --- the lack of support for Mac OS X 10.8 is stunning --- the lack of actively fixing known issues is abismal --- the lack of technical support for the Mac OS is painful --- the fact that the Crash Error has become part of the screensaver is more aggravating than Republicans doing anything. I wish I could get my money back...because this screensaver just sucks. I share this with you, because I believe everyone else that has commented may just be accepting the shortcomings for the gorgeous looking screensaver. But I just cannot stand it anymore...Don't waste your money on this rubbish unless you are OK with crap, crappy support, and just plain overall crap.

OK, so I gave in & purchased this aquarium. There isn't much in the way of aquarium software/screensavers out there. The screensaver parameters are set within the screensaver itself, and not in System Preferences. But, unlike the free version, there are no issues with changing any of them. It does look absolutely stunning on my 27" iMac!

Took a look at this, and it does look better than most aquarium screen savers I've seen. Unfortunately, all settings are done within the screensaver & not in System Pref's. Whenever I try to change the settings, the screen saver stops. It would be nice to have the settings where they should be, where you can alter to your liking. I noticed their forum has an awful lot of questions and problems with add-on's. Screensavers really should be simple. If you need a forum for a screensaver, it is too complicated, or it isn't working right. I'll pass on this one...

I have submit this screensaver to MacUpdate because I am using it for many years now on PC and it is now available for the Mac as well. This is probably the most beautiful and the most realistic aquarium screensaver ever made. Even my two kittens are fooled when it is running on the cinema display! The author redistribute a part of the money to an environmental charity. Make yourself a treat, you will not regret it.

Also knew this one from my "Windows" time. Always loved it and secretly hoped it would be available for Mac someday... Great, beautiful. Great graphics. Also purchased the extra species pack. Together with Marine Aquarium a great couple ! Relaxing time can begin .....
