Photoshop : Filter > Stylize > Oil Paint. Don't pay $14 for something you may already have the capacity to complete.

I have used a few of these preset based programs that make it easy to create very powerful effects without hours of PhotoShop work. But what a weird UI. Here is the message I had to send support. "I am using computers for 36 years. I have NEVER had this user experience of an app saying it has saved my output file but giving NO idea where it is. It is not in the folder of the source file, or downloads, or images, or photos, or home folder, or desktop... WHERE does it save pictures and WHY can't you just have a dialog box appear or have a Save As box as almost every other image app on the planet?" What am I missing that I cannot find an output file it shows "Saving" a dozen times, despite my changing the Default/Source folder preference too.

The GREAT MISUNDERSTANDING: painting-programs have NOTHING TO DO with real painting. Digital painting is working with zero's and ones, nothing inbetween, without usable coïncidences. Everything follows the mathematical rules. Digital paintings are dead. It's tjev package without a content.

I've been using this app for a few days, I have to say. I'm impressed. This little something is really neat. I don't like use Photoshop a lot, it's complicated. Instead I use Portrait Painter everytime I wanna do something to my photos. Pretty easy and fast.
Though I'll appreciate it if more features will be added. I'll keep on using it.
