Too many bugs from Apple last years. Time Machine Backup now working, but before that i cloned my drive by third-side app. Where the "Internet Sharing" function? In Snow Leo I just connected my laptop by cable to Mac Pro, and go surfing web, why in next release of super OS it's just doesn't work? For > one year! Quality degrading? [Version 10.7.5]

A few weeks ago I took my main computer directly from Snow Leopard to Lion (yes, I am a slow adapter), and saw the same glacial performance from Spotlight indexing and Time Machine copying as has been reported on various forums. This update seems to have fixed those issues. A fresh Time Machine copy (≈700 GB) is down to a couple of hours instead of several weeks.

Upgrading to 10.7.5 was, well, problematic; including spotlight re-indeeeeeeeeeeeeexing and time machine slooooooooooow down. In addition, the gain included gatekeeper which was, for me, unnecessary. Another problem with the upgrade I lost the iTunes pop up song notification whcih I kind of like. I may wait for 10.7.8 let all the bugs be worked out then upgrade---well---I probably upgrade the clone first.
