Smart Wall overview
Smart Wall allows you to integrate day-to-day information on your desktop wallpaper and customize how it all looks. Smart Wall makes your wallpaper smart by integrating bits of data that you use on a daily basis. The information that you add will remain on your desktop at all times -- kind of like widgets. The only difference is that, unlike widgets, the data will blend right into your desktop as if it’s part of the wallpaper.
This is just a demo, functionality available is limited. Full version is available in the Mac App Store.
Information available to integrate using the full version:
- Date in all formats separately
- Digital time
- Analog time
- Stocks information (stocks name, price, price change)
- Weather image
- Weather description

Nice application, please add a feature to save our designs in order to switch between designs without having to do it all over again. Thanks !!

Definitely not what I was expecting... I thought it would be a little more seamless like GeekTool. Also, most of the features and things to display on the desktop require that I purchase the full version. In the MacUpdate description it states all of these features are coming soon, but made no mention that they would not be free... I would like to mention that GeekTool is completely free and allows extensive customization/scripting.
This is certainly a nice idea; the screenshot looks awesome! But as for my actual use it was quite disappointing. Even still, I'm not leaving a rating because this is the first version and I'm sure it will get better.
