Current version is the 7.0.3-0 installer released November 13, 2014. owncloud.org currently only supports ownCloud server on Windows and Linux (there are issues with accented Unicode characters in the Mac filesystem), so there are no Mac installation instructions. They are also at 7.0.3, released on November 13. The Bitnami Stack currently looks like the most direct option for installing ownCloud on your Mac.

Its probably amazing but pretty far from 'quick setup' I get as far as a webpage welcoming me to owncloud but then a further button to install which then downloads a bunch of stuff I am then supposed to upload to my 'server'. This stuff is only fathomable to our bearded community and I am still none the wiser. I really want to use owncloud, but lets be honest its not for 'the rest of us' is it? I feel certain this app has done something positive towards the aim, however I still don't have own cloud so as a quick set up, epic fail.
