I'd avoid this one. It changed the permissions for every file it touched.

used to work grat 10.8.2 came out doesnt do anything please healp/fix soon! love the app

This is a nice little app, but can you enable it to not only change the NC Banners but also the NC Alerts? ... I find alerts, which stay on screen, are better suited for apps, such as the Calendar.
