I have a feeling that this is going to be another app that disappears just like radio gaga and dejumble. I'm frustrated with these type of apps that come and go so quickly. I think it's better to stick with what Apple offers such as notes, Reminders, Mail, calendar etc...

Bummer that this app is no longer available in this country (US) on the app store. Their website has disappeared too... luckily I still have the latest version. There is just nothing better than mousing to the edge and writing a note. For some reason, it irritates me to go up to the menubar and click. Yikes, that sounds bad! Anyway, it still works on Mavericks, yay! Maybe someone can make a similar app when this one stops working? :-( Sidenote (2007) was good too!

Before I updated to Mavericks, this was my daily app that I relied on all the time, to replace my beloved Sidenote from Pierre Chatel. However, CloudJot is refused to load under Mavericks, I miss the convenience of a sliding notebook so much. I already wrote to dev on May 7th 2014, I hope he will response to my request to make it work under Mavericks again.

Cloudjot has proven to be very useful to me especially since I am the type of person who likes to write down or jot down multiple notes. Usually after one or two weeks I loose track of my notes and it has happened several times to me that I loose focus and don't know where I have saved my notes. This problem has worsened since I work on different laptops at home and at work so it is hard for me to keep track of where all my notes are saved. That's why I found Cloudjot so useful, because all the notes I write are saved to my dropbox so I know there is one location where I can retrieve them and they are savely saved there. Furthermore I can share my notes and ideas with my work colleagues using the dropbox functionality. What I like about cloudjot is that it is very easy to use and I was able to get the hang of it within a couple of minutes. The sliding functionailty / anchor tag is also very helpful because I can quickly jot down notes and I can always have cloudjot open on the side. I am also able to create new notes very quickly by just pressing the + symbol next to the title bar. I believe all in all it is a very intuitive piece of software and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to jot down notes quickly without having to learn all the fancy feature set other software text editor tools require you to learn.
