Matilde for Mac

Softpedia now includes Mac malware with its downloads, Genio in this case. If you really want Matilde, just trash any other dmg that come down with it. Do not install weird unknown things! The malware is named installjdownloader,dmg, lately - and I am sorry to see this cool little app abandoned. Maybe MacUpdate should de-list it, along with anything else that links to Softpedia. The site is listed as Unsafe.

Perhaps Matilde 1.0.5 is free, but it is not available. Both links here go to a single, front-page site that asks you to provide your email address for notification of the launch of this app and for discounts to it. And that's it. I, for one, would like to know if there were previous versions that support 10.6.8, but no way to tell from an uninformative webpage like this.

I have not heard from the developer in well over a week. I kept my end of the bargain and provided this developer feedback for a license and I would blog that app once it was stable. I told the developer that how could I tell if the app was registered. He didn't answer. This is a bad way to do business! I told told him that the license did not work, he did not respond! I have moved on to reputable apps such as Diary from Moapps and Dayone, well know developers that I trust. Both these app are much cheaper than this one. I only wanted to help and I see I got the runaround. I will make no more effort to contact this developer and i'm glad I didn't pay for this.

The developer was nice and sent me a free license, but this good looking app no longer works for me. The main window will not appear.
