Keymo overview

Keymo gives you full control over your mouse pointer via keyboard shortcuts. Sometimes using the keyboard is just more convenient than a mouse or trackpad.

What’s new in version 1.2.11

  • Various minor updates to keep up with macOS changes.
  • All new in-app help, which is now also available on the web.
  • Renamed 'Move to Edge/Corner' (and added more detail in Help) to hopefully prevent user confusion about what it does.
  • Keymou is now a universal app, built for both Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
  • Resolved some minor user interface issues on macOS 11 Big Sur.
  • Improved dark mode support.
  • Fixed a bug related to the Move by Division action.
  • The app has been renamed to Keymou, in response to a user's unpleasant memories being triggered by the similar pronunciations of Keymo and chemo.
  • The UI has been refreshed with a new app icon and menu bar icon, as well as other changes.
  • New "Press and Hold" and "Release" actions.
  • Fixed a bug that affected actions with acceleration.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented Keymou from working in macOS Mojave.
  • Fixes a bug in Keymo 1.2.4 that made moving the mouse to other displays impossible under certain circumstances. We apologize for the inconvenience!
  • Resolved an issue where Move To Other Display would sometimes skip some displays.
  • Improved help with better layout and greatly improved navigation and search.
  • Updated the Sparkle in-app update mechanism to use a secure connection (HTTPS).
  • Fixed an issue with OS X 10.11 El Capitan's Gatekeeper.
  • Modified some interface elements in preparation for Yosemite (OS X 10.10).
  • Prepared for upcoming Gatekeeper changes.
  • Triggering multiple clicks now properly sends double- and triple-clicks.
  • Resolved a display glitch where some hot keys were displays with a single "FN" modifier instead of their actual modifiers (on Mountain Lion only).
  • New double-click action. (Hat tip to Adam R. for the suggestion.)
  • Reduced lag when using highlight.
  • Added variable timeout option to cursor highlight feature.
  • Added a global hotkey to toggle keystrokes off and on.
  • Move distances can now be set (and remembered) for any arbitrary pixel distance.
  • Actions can be chained together.
  • Optimized the UI for Lion, and reorganized the entries in the menu bar menu.
  • Updated internal logic to better determine external monitor locations.
  • Initial release.

Great app for keyboard junkies that want to control their mouse via shortcuts. Works as advertised. Seems to be compatible with the latest version of OS X Mavericks. No problems so far.
