Resize Sense overview

Resize Sense is a batch image resizer/cropper/converter known for its flexibility and convenience. To illustrate its flexibility: using custom size and saving presets, you can easily resize many images, each one to several different sizes, and save them in various formats with different filename patterns. All this in a single batch operation, in a few minutes!

You can also crop and straighten individual images manually if required, and copy these settings to other images. Resize Sense lets you decide what to do if, for example, the image aspect ratio changes: crop, deform, or add borders. Or when the image is too small for the requested size: enlarge, extend canvas, skip, or just keep the original. Resize Sense also supports batch image transformations such as rotation and flipping.

Want to send a number of images by e-mail? Show them at any time to your friends on a mobile device? Put them on a website with strict size requirements? Use Resize Sense to achieve the size you need, for many images at once! Save your settings as presets, and next time you will not even need to enter them again!

What I needed was an app that can reduce the FILE SIZE (3 to 4MB) of photos downloaded from photo services. Need this to save thousands of photos without overloading my hard drive. Adjusting the height and width of photos was not my need, I can do that with any photo editor. Resize Sense reduces file size efficiently and selectively and as far as I know, it's the only app that can do that.

Regardless of my last comment from 2019, for the pricing which I think was unfair on my part, without even trying it. I was trying it for the last few days, since I'm in need for batch resizing. I have to say, RS is excellent, resized my images perfectly without affecting their quality. I think a slight sharpening is applied, not sure though, which is perfectly fine. Will definitely purchase it.

Agree with Uncoy, it is OVERrpriced. GraphicConverter, my editor of choice, a top of the line graphic photo editor is priced $40, while RS priced at $20 does just 5% of what GC does ???? $10 would be more acceptable and will double the number of downloads and sales in short time. I understand that to use RS for things like cropping and resizing is much faster and more convenient than opening GC, and I do like it, but still the price is an obstacle.

Horrid looking app with dated features. Overpriced in relations to more attractive competitors like PhotoMill or even PhotoBulk (latter of which I didn't like either). The two really good ones Resize Me and Photo Batcher are discontinued (though Photo Batcher is still available for download at OSX Bytes site). VeprIT, the Resize Sense Developer, owns a whole suite of overpriced slice and dice photo tools for every single possible action of improving, resizing, watermarking or slideshowing your photos. There's a single half decent app in here somewhere. For now Resize Sense belongs back in the 1990's. PhotoMill is a bit of a headtrip in terms of workflow the first time you use it but once you figure it out, blows Resize Sense out of the water. Very nice to look at.
