CourseNotes overview

CourseNotes lets you take notes during classes or meetings, and keep them organized by subject! Review your notes later and search through multiple class meetings and notes all at once. You can also keep ToDo lists and track assignments.

CourseNotes for Mac also syncs over WiFi with CourseNotes for the iPad, so you can take notes on the go and sync them back to your Mac.

Keeping class notes organized is a daunting task for any student. Put an end to unreadable notes on torn up spiral notebooks, and stop paging through your notes looking desparately for that one thing you remember writing that one time... Let CourseNotes be your guide!

Features:

  • Take notes with text and images
  • Sync wirelessly with CourseNotes for the iPad
  • Organize notes by subject and class meeting
  • Print notes or export as HTML
  • Track assignments and ToDo items

This app commits the unforgivable sin of changing - without warning - one of the most commonly used keyboard shortcuts, cmd-+, used by other programmes.

College student here and I was looking for the ideal note taking software for my classes. Bought this a few months ago and have had the pleasure of using it. User interface is easy to understand. Love the import PDF function.

Looks great. Improvements can be made in allowing for users to customize color schemes, backgrounds, and to remove the stars on the left sidebar. Sh

This is about the version 2.0. My view is similar to the previous one. No way for transferring notes between Macs (office & Macbook). Does it have sense in a Mac application?. I think it is relevant to criticize the development of this (and other) applications. Rich text editing was invented in the XX century, if you have to wait to a 2.0 version to have it, then when can we expect dropbox support or a related feature to transfer my notes between Macs?.... 3.0, 4.0 or.... X.0 version?

This is just an Ipad companion, not a real Mac application. Cost double, but it has not all the features you can find in the Ipad version. Developers have to work hard on this promising application. Now you have no options at all for customization. You have no possibility to transfer your notes into another Mac. You cannot change the order of the notes manually. You cannot have tags or smart boxes. You cannot build the lexicon........The list of things that you cannot do is so big...... A roadmap should indispensable to see if it worth to spend 9.99 $ . Journler is an alternative if you do not have an Ipad, and it is free.
