What’s new in version 10.0
Note: Although Finder indicates that this is version 10.0, the developer states that this is version 11.0.
Platform independent:
- Artboards now support relative paths to background source images. This setting is enabled by default and can be changed in artboard settings.
- Imported images and their thumbnails are now correctly cleaned up after being removed fr om the project.
- Fixed a "No filter Selected" error after creating a project filter.
macOs-specific:
- Animated artboards are now marked with an overlay icon.

In PS CC 2014 the filters would not start properly. Neither the forum nor support were able to offer solutions while many more users reported a similar issue. Half a star was added because the standalone version worked, but I was after the plugin version. I suggest to wait until the manufacturer has announced a fix. A manual removal of the installation is also required as the installer does not come with an un-install option.

I recently purchased Filter Forge 3.0 along with the 4.0 upgrade to use as a plugin with Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended.
This is a very powerful graphic effects program, the full power of which I have barely touched, being as I don't take the time to create my own filters.
Thanks to the thousands of free filters which are regularly uploaded to the Filter Forge website -- which one can download into their own copy of Filter Forge -- one will never run out of new ways to enhance their images in Adobe Photoshop -- and in other compatible host programs -- with high-quality borders, textures and other amazing effects.
