PstExporter overview

PstExporter is a Mac OS X application that exports messages contained in Microsoft Outlook .PST files to the common mbox format. Contacts are exported as vCards which can be easily imported by the system's Address Book. Appointments are transfer automatically to iCal (Mac OS X's calendar application). Multiple pst files can be converted at once using batch mode capability

PstExporter runs entirely on the Mac and, unlike other programs, does not need to have Microsoft Outlook or Windows installed

Files generated by PstExporter can be easily imported with programs like Apple Mail or Microsoft Entourage. The Help that comes with the application provides detailed information on how to convert to different Email programs (Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Entourage)

However if you want to save yourself some money and are on an exchange server do the following: Add your Outlook account to mail. It is as easy as entering your email address and password. Mail does the rest. Move (in outlook) the messages you want to transfer to the inbox or on to an Exchange subfolder. When you open the Exchange account in Mail, just select and drag the desired messages into the Mail inbox. That's it. Your done.
