Torchlight overview
Welcome to Torchlight! A boomtown founded on the discovery of rich veins of Ember, a rare and mysterious ore with the power to enchant or corrupt all that it touches. Emboldened by its power, legions of twisted creatures have begun to swarm up from the tunnels and caves below the town. Explore the depths, collect loot, and level up as you save Torchlight - and possibly the world.
Randomization
Your adventure is uniquely your own. Explore seven lovingly crafted environments randomly generated with new monsters, treasures, puzzles, and items each time you embark on your journey.
Mod Support
All of the tools we used to make Torchlight are fully available in TorchED. Change your gameplay experience, or create something entirely new to explore and share.
Pets & Fishing
Take a break from your fast-paced job adventuring and go fishing. Your catch will help you along your journey. Solo adventuring can be a lonely. Chose a faithful companion to accompany you. Your pet will carry items for you, help you in battle, and - with the right fish &- can even transform into powerful allies!
Retirement System
Hanging up your boots doesn't mean the adventure has to be over. "Retire" your hero and pass down a prized item imbued with unique attributes for your new hero.

- Multiple spelling fixes
- Fixed a few spots where floor tiles where missing or had the wrong collision set
- Fixed various locations where monsters were getting stuck in some levels

- You can now have up to 50 waypoints - for modders
- Scale effect can now be permanent - for modders
- Soul Rend magic damage scales with strength and magic 50%, 50%
- Doom Quake, Titan Stomp dmg scales with strength 50%
- Needle Arc dot damage scales with strength and dex 100%, 100%
- Ember Lightning additionally deals 20% of weapon damage on the first chain
- Magic Weapon expertise passive does not interact strangely with other passives around level 9
- Shock Trap now scales with ranks. Flame Trap and Shock Trap now scale with pet mastery.
- Ember Lance no longer stops passive buffs
- Option in Settings file to turn off Steam Cloud added Settings broke into 2 files. LocalSettings and settings
- Fixed rare teleport crash
- Fix for input latency on low FPS for skills; hotbar skills and items Alric Achievement now works on steam
- Fixed XP not being removed correctly after death if choosing to respond at the level start
- Passive skills now adhere to equipment requirement
- Fixed rare case when triggers wouldn’t fire correctly
- Texture overrides fixed in paper doll view
- Fixed issue with some looping skills
- Masteries now properly apply to elemental effects

Neat game ... think a slightly scaled down version of Diablo. Can't find the mac updater for it at the URL soecified ... all choices lead to PC updaters. Guess we've been left in the lurch again.

I found this game quite interesting in ways that properly can't even be explained...Easy to play, has a fairly complex story but then again no one really cares about the story. They just want smash the shit out of a goblin's head.
Thought, it does lack some features; i.e there is no Multiplayer...co-op or even online play....So if you really like sitting in the dark.
Buy this game :3
