Trying to run Reaper on Mac Monterey. I downloaded a paid non-commercial version of Reaper. I'm trying to get some sort of voice signal out of my Samson G-Track Pro recorded onto a Reaper track. No luck so far. I've watched many of the on-line tutorials. In all of them, I am supposed to go to Preferences/Options and there is SUPPOSED to be a window that appears where I choose Audio Device Settings, where I choose Asio, WavOut, Direct Sound, etc. However this window with these choices NEVER appears for me to chose. So does this mean I need to download a bunch of drivers first? And why wouldn't they already be in the Reaper program? The only thing that appears in Audio Device settings is the name of my Samson microphone. I'm creating a track and arming the record button, but I see NO levels (voice) coming through either before or during recording. Mic is not on mute nor is the channel. Any thoughts out there? Thanks.

Reaper still is a wonderful and very good piece of software. Compared with other DAWs it is one of the best for me: fast, small and with many great functions. Most plugins work great with reaper and the developers always make updates if necessary. Thank you! Why must I always click an ok-button here in Macupdate? Every time I start with FireFox or reboot my Mac.

I really enjoy using the new version 6 of reaper. It is very stable, fast and has many features. By thr way it is now version 6.0.3, not 6.30.0!

It's worth mentioning that Reaper is a $60 program. The $225 price is for a commercial license that very few people require. The programs are identical - just the license is different.
