SoundSoap can rescue your recordings from noise problems like air conditioners, traffic, fans, hiss, hum, clicks, pops, crackles, distortion/clipping, and low volume. It's inexpensive and easy to use, with professional results.

Available as a 49-dollar upgrade to owners of the old Bias SoundSoap Pro app, v1 and v2, by direct order from Soundness. You will need the e-mall address that you registered your Bias app from.

SoundSoap has always been a great tool for quick and easy noise reduction on poorly recorded location audio. It is no match to the more powerful Izotope RX3 but is an attractive alternative if you prefer the ease of use and the much lower price point of SoundSoap. I am glad to see that a new company is taking a swing at it after Bias-Inc. closed its doors.

I wanted to add Izotope RX http://izotope.com/products/audio/rx/ as a Similar Software, but it doesn't appear to be in the Macupdate database.
